The past few years have seen ECAs an DFIs collaborate on some of the market’s standout deals, including Sizewell C in the UK and several packages for Angola. In this session, we welcome ECAs, DFIs, and other structuring partners to workshop practical ideas for even better collaboration. We consider:

• What can DFIs and ECAs learn from each other to support deal origination?
• What legal and regulatory requirements need to be considered? How should ECAs and DFIs balance their differing mandates to best serve customers? 
• How can everyone in the room work together to increase the pipeline for blended finance transactions? 
• How could ECAs and DFIs simplify their approaches in line with each other, for example by considering ESG requirements and moving away from a project-by-project approach?
